Vinod Bachchan’s story is one of perseverance, resilience, and an unwavering love for cinema. At just 14, he left his small village in Uttar Pradesh and came to Mumbai with the dream of working in films. Like many, he faced his share of struggles—making ends meet, working behind the scenes, and even stepping into real estate consultancy to sustain himself—before finally establishing his own production house.
In 2000, Mr. Bachchan founded Soundrya Productions. Over the years, he immersed himself in every aspect of filmmaking—learning on set, assisting directors, managing crews, and gradually taking on executive responsibilities. Today, with more than 35 years of experience, he continues to collaborate with actors, directors, technicians, and creative professionals across the industry. He is also widely recognized for nurturing and launching new directors, giving fresh talent a platform to showcase their vision.
His films are known for their relatability, often reflecting the lives, struggles, and joys of everyday middle-class families. For him, cinema is at its best when it mirrors the audience’s own reality—their laughter, heartbreak, and hope.
Over the years, Mr. Bachchan’s contributions to Indian cinema have been acknowledged through several honors, including the Global Prestige Award, presented at the House of Lords, UK Parliament in September 2024, the Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman in 2021, the Awadh Gaurav Samman in 2019, and the Global Tycoon Award as an independent producer. Beyond such accolades, he values most the opportunity to tell stories that connect with audiences across India and beyond. He has also built strong networks in international markets and continues to work with talented actors, technicians, and storytellers who share his belief in the power of meaningful cinema.

Mr. Bachachan has very successfully associated himself with different directors, actors, technicians to offer a vast Range of projects. He has triumphantly produced films such As Rain (2005), Tanu Weds Manu (2011), Zila Gaziabad(2013), Jigariyaa (2014), shaadi mein zaroor Aana (2017), Ginny Weds Sunny (2020) And many more regional films. He is currently launching a New Music platform for Indian Artists.
He even has a strong distribution network in International Markets Mr. Bachchan like to produce films which tell the tale of the common man. His mantra is to make films on middle class family ke kahani and that is his real audience.
