Logline
A gruff professional wrestler’s solitary life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with an effervescent young woman whose zest for life challenges everything he thought he knew about himself.
Synopsis
Former wrestling champion Sunny Chaturvedi’s life is turned upside down after a viral fake news incident destroys both his sporting career and marriage prospects. Meanwhile, Ginny Mehrotra, an independent woman from Delhi, is left heartbroken when her fiancé calls off their wedding just days before the ceremony.
Unable to find suitable matches, the two families resort to exaggerated matrimonial profiles, believing they’ve found the perfect partner for their children. But after a lavish destination wedding, Sunny and Ginny soon discover that neither is who they claimed to be. What follows is a hilarious journey of misunderstandings, family drama and emotional confrontations as their marriage is put to the test.
As resentment gradually gives way to friendship and understanding, Sunny and Ginny realise that the qualities they had been searching for in an ideal partner were within each other all along. Their journey becomes one of acceptance, second chances and discovering that true love begins when pretence ends.
